Mr. S. H. Kolhe, the visionary founder of the Engineering Consultants and Suppliers Group, remains the guiding force and inspiration behind our continued progress. A graduate of the prestigious College of Engineering Pune—one of India’s oldest and most respected engineering institutions—Mr. Kolhe earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980.
Following a successful tenure at one of the country’s most esteemed organizations of that era, he recognized a critical gap between industry demands and the availability of quality welding consumables and cutting tools. With an entrepreneurial spirit and deep technical insight, he established the Group’s first venture, Shri Datta Agencies, in 1982.

Seasoned business owner and engineering professional with a dynamic skill set spanning AutoCAD, Mechanical engineering, materials science, welding, foundry operations, PHP programming, and advanced computer-aided design. Renowned for blending hands-on industrial expertise with entrepreneurial acumen to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (affiliated with the University of Pune), and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Metallurgical Engineering from the esteemed College of Engineering Pune (COEP).
